Future Opportunities

What the Community Center could grow into next.

These are proposed initiatives and ideas under consideration — not current programs. Each one could grow through community partnerships, educators, volunteers, grants, and support.

A note on this page

The initiatives below are aspirational — a vision of what the Cortland Community Center could offer in the years ahead. They are not currently scheduled or funded. If any of them resonate with you as a teacher, partner, sponsor, or volunteer, we'd love to hear from you.

Who could help

Built together, or not at all.

None of this happens without neighbors. Each future opportunity needs teachers to teach, partners to co-create, sponsors to help fund, and volunteers to keep the doors open.

  • Local educators & retired teachers
  • Cortland-area nonprofits & service organizations
  • Small businesses & professional volunteers
  • Colleges, libraries, and school districts
  • Health providers, veteran services, and civic groups
  • Grantmakers, foundations, and community sponsors
